Finally! After postponing the appointment with the paint-shop a few times the wait-time for the new new date is over. It only took about an hour or so to take off all lights and exterior parts. The wings and bonnet are still on as some correction are necessary.
It is unclear on how long it will take to get the car back in British Racing Green – or GN18 (Connaught Green) to be precise. Current guesstimate is something between 3 and 6 weeks.
In the meantime I need to finish the repairs on Maggie (my 1967 MGB GT) to clear the space in the garage for Mildred – the new 1973 MGB GT which will be my next project 😊
