Right after writing this post my trip to Spain and the UK will start. A last minute check of gearbox and rear axle oil came to my mind yesterday evening. Both are topped up, oil and brake fluid levels are also fine.
Tools, some spare and a new overall in case I need to do some repairs all fit nicely next to the spare tire – which I decided to keep although I have a repair kit at hand. I reckon that a flat tire is the most likely of all issues on a 3200km trip.
Virtual just a few minutes ago I also ripped out the mobile phone holder from my daughter’s car and threw together a bracket that attaches to the on I have for the Brantz International Pro trip counter I use for events.
Next stop: Châteauroux in France
