Bonn-Barcelona-Baleares: Day 1

Easy Peasy! That is basically the summary of the first day and the longest (planned) drive.  This time we didn’t have any major problems – well, besides the weather. No overheating, no slipping clutch, no suspension rattles, no electrical quirks.

Start time was later than planned due to rain. It was supposed to stop raining at 9am – but it didn’t and we ended up putting the roof on. Our first stop was in the Eifel just before the border to Luxembourg. Rain water came in everywhere. From there we made it to Nancy in exactly the time that Google Maps predicted. 320km in 3.5h and with fuel consumption of 8.4l/100km.

The motorway driving was monetoneus. The only thing that bothers me: C6622 is seriously underpowered for the rear axle replacement that is installed now. But in the end we made it to Lyon. We walked for more that 90min to explore the City Centre. Last thing todo is to top up the Engine 😜. Cheers
