This was quite a productive weekend. On Saturday I woke up early because I could not get a thought out of my head. Last week, when I built the metal crossmember for the Mini seats, I fetched a single piece of square tube from a metal bin. But there was quite a bit more in... Continue Reading →
Ahh!! The weekend is here!!
After a long and busy week, I managed to get to the garage at 5pm today. And I ticking off items on the Morgan issue list one by one. Today I started with the Lucas 1130 sidelights. The bulb holder insight the lights have a short piece of cable. While trying to reconnect it after... Continue Reading →
Mini Hackathon
If you have ever taken one of the last carburetor Mini Cooper's on a longer tour - you know that the standard seats aren't comfortable. The later MPI Mini's (MK7) - like the one I worked on earlier this year - had really nice uprated seats. But finding a good pair for a reasonable price... Continue Reading →

Trailer Queen
Due to the broken altenator it was a better choice to use a trailer. After the VGS checks and treatment I am looking forward for the first drive

Hopefully, this includes a few things that help you - the reader - to avoid the same... Continue Reading →
A monster of a drawer cupboard
A couple days I had to buy some small parts for the Morgan wiring loom (which is a topic for another post). Conrad Electronic is shutting down all their shops and will sell online only in the future. When I saw that they also sell their furniture - I didn't hesitate to buy a huge... Continue Reading →
